Who is this qualification for?
The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace, providing learners with an awareness of the hazards and risks within their working environment. It is also suitable for learners who are preparing for employment where health and safety can be applied to their learning environment.
How long will it take?
The total qualification time for this qualification is 24 hours, of which 21 are recommended as guided learning hours.
Topics covered
The qualification provides learners with an understanding of the main responsibilities of employees and employers with regards to health and safety, as well as an understanding of how the workplace can affect health and safety.
Assessment method
This qualification is assessed through the completion of a portfolio of evidence that will also be internally quality assured by the centre.
