Who is this qualification for?
This is a one-day training intended for workers who handle, ship, or transport hazardous materials in their line of work. The focus of the training is on examining the laws and the types of risks associated with chemicals. examining the loading, transportation, and security of hazardous materials in addition to the packaging, labeling, and documentation of those materials.

• Core daily tasks and duties
• Adherence to safe and accurate operational protocols
• Identifying potential hazards in the handling of dangerous materials
• Recognizing risks associated with limited quantity provisions
• Familiarity with the dangers pertaining to UN classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9
• Compliance with responsibilities outlined in the Health and Safety at Work Act
• Ensuring the security of hazardous goods
• Safely loading and handling hazardous materials
• Understanding procedures for accidents and emergencies
