Who is this qualification for?
This course imparts vital knowledge and skills to enable participants to safely handle, transport, and adhere to regulations concerning dangerous materials. The training seeks to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of European laws governing the road transportation of dangerous goods. The primary objective of ADR training is to ensure that drivers possess the requisite knowledge and skills to safely transport hazardous materials.
ADR is segmented into three categories:
Core: Fundamental curriculum covering the transportation of dangerous goods in road tankers, tank containers, packages (e.g., drums, cylinders), and bulk shipments.
Tanks: Specific guidelines for transporting any class of dangerous goods using road tankers or other tanker containers.
Packages & Loose in Bulk: Instructions for transporting dangerous goods in various packaging formats (sacks, drums, cylinders, cartons) and bulk shipments without packaging (utilizing skips, tipper or dust cart bodies, etc.).
